The NIH-KSA is an organization made up of Korean and Korean-American scientists working at the U.S. National Institutes of Health.

The NIH has many campuses in Maryland (Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Frederick, and Baltimore) and also outside of Maryland (North Carolina and Arizona). The NIH-KSA actively promotes free sharing of scientific knowledge and expertise among Korean and Korean-American scientists at the NIH by holding regular seminar series and two annual symposiums as well as through frequent networking events. The NIH-KSA provides networking opportunities for both the newly arrived and the existing members by hosting social events at least two times a year.

NIH-KSA는 미 국립 보건원(U.S. NIH)에서 연구하고 있는 한인과학자들의 모임입니다. 현재 약 250명의 박사급 연구원이 소속으로 되어 있는 저희 모임은 정식 KSEA의 지역회원으로 인정이되어 있습니다.

NIH의 캠퍼스는 Maryland의 여러 도시 (Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Frederick, and Baltimore)외에 다른 주 (North Carolina and Arizona)에도 위치하고 있습니다.
NIH-KSA는 정기적인 세미나와 심포지엄을 통해 한인 과학자들간의 활발한 학술 연구 교류를 유도하고 있으며, 정기적인 침목 모임을 통해 인적 네트워크 형성에도 활발히 기여하고 있습니다. 또한 기업들의 구인 정보 창구 및 가교 역할을 통해 NIH-KSA 회원들의 취업에 크게 기여하고 있습니다.
